Landscape Mondays - Light Writing in Joshua Tree National Park

The light on the rocks here in Joshua Tree National park are completely real, my buddy Tracy and I were light writing on them at 3AM.  For the bottom one, I used a red flashlight on the bottom part and a yellow flashlight on the top part.  The longer the exposure, the more of the sky (and milky way) we were able to pick up, however, when it's too long you get the light pollution from Southern California.  It worked out in these photos, as it looked like a glow behind the rocks.
