You Think You're A Photographer? GET OUT OF PHOTOSHOP!

If you're a photographer, take heed. Try to spend less time in Photoshop. Photoshop is not a tool to help you take better photos; it is a tool to help you better represent what is going on within a photo. If you're taking good photos in the first place, not a lot of Photoshop (if any) will be needed. In fact, I try to use Photoshop as little as possible simply by taking better photos. In my entire career, the only time I've ever spent more than 5 minutes editing a photo was when it was a landscape. For most of my photos, Photoshop is for fixing errors and is used minimally.
